An Abu 444a sold for $208. There was only 1 bid on this auction. Description follows… Here is a nice collectible. In1965 ABU upgraded it´s 444 with a new colour scheme and some modern details and the 444A was born. The earliest box had a sticker with the model name. Soon this type was printed though. The inner box is very nice and the outer box nice but has tears in two places on the swedish text side, see picture. The reel has serial no 010600 under the foot (January 1966), is used with some wear but works just fine. The extras are nice. A good opportunity for the collector of ABU spinning reels. The box is not so easy to find.
